RJD Series batteries are different in design from other similar-looking batteries. A new encapsulation technology significantly increases storage capacity by completely utilizing the space within the cell case. Not only has the energy density per lithium ion been improved, the failure rate is superior to older designs. Encapsulation, unlike the conventional stacking method, resolved manufacturing issues which affect safety and reliability. As a result, RJD Series batteries allow manufacturers to offer new levels of performance without product redesign.

EDLC/Supercapacitors

Supercapacitors are also called ultra-capacitors, double-layer capacitors, electro-chemical double layer (EDLCs) and pseudocapacitors. EDLC/Supercapacitor Modules

Supercapacitors are available with huge amounts of storage capability, but in order to go beyond single-digit voltage ratings, they must be networked together. IC modules multiply capacitance or voltage maximums without guesswork or risk. Virtually unlimited capacitance and voltage ratings can be achieved. Modules are custom designed and can be configured to meet environmental, space and shape limitations. Operating life up to 10 years with 500,000 cycles.
